“ Went for brunch and both the food and service were amazing. We started with cinnamon roll. Chef's kiss! Then had chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious! ”
“ Stopped in n for a nice dinner in the Bar. They changed to menu up. I ordered the smash burger and substituted salad for the chips. Burger was really good! Two patties, cheese and onions on a toasted bun, add bacon and onion ring if you want. Salad was fresh and crisp as usual. Wife ordered Calamari for an appetizer and a flatbread, had some leftover for lunch. Topped dinner off with a Cadillac margarita or two! Always a good vibe and great meal at this place! ”
“ We have been here several times with family. The decor is very nice, and the booths are comfortable. Wait staff seem to be knowledgeable and efficient. I wanted to order the pork chop plate, but was told it is not gluten-free. Bummer. So, I got the Caesar Salad. It was very good. The Granddaughter went ahead and ordered the Pork Chop, and shared her sides with me. Supported this place. It's worth keeping! ”
“ After seeing a lot of good reviews for this place it was time to try it for myself. I made a reservation for 12.30 pm. When we arrived it wasn't that busy. There is a main dining room a smaller one to the side and dining in the bar area. We sat in the main dining room where there are booths and tables. Decor is nice. Lighting is dark. Server was great and fast. Fish and Chips for me, Wagyu cheeseburger plus bacon for my guest. 3 pieces of cod which was hot crispy and delicious. The chips (fries) seemed very dry and lukewarm. The burger was hot and delicious. The fries were lukewarm and dry. The restaurant got busy during our visit, nice vibe. Bathroom was very nice with thick hand towels . Would recommend and will return! ”
“ I don't know if I can accurately express how amazing our entire experience at the Farehouse was. My husband and I are huge foodies. We have dined at every "5 star" joint in the upstate and have usually walked out feeling slightly disappointed. Today, this was absolutely not the case. Chef John and the staff at Farehouse gave my husband and I the best meal of our entire marriage. I have never had food actually evoke an emotional response but you could feel the passion and care behind each of the dishes we were fortunate enough to experience. The scallops were like nothing I have ever had before. The steak frites were grilled to perfection and the calamari was hands down the best In the state, bar none. The ambience is incredible, the bourbon selection is top choice but nothing could possibly top the inspired food that Chef John provided. I will be forever a loyal custome and would reccomend this restaurant to anyone and everyone! Thank you to The Farehouse and Chef John for the best 10th wedding anniversary we could have asked for. -Alex and Kate ”
“ We really enjoyed our late lunch! We'd just missed Brunch but we weren't disappointed by the choices! I ordered the smoked wings and 1/2 wedge salad. So good! They did not skimp on the bacon and bleu cheese crumbles which a lot of places do. I tried the Farehot sauce which wasn't hot just had a slight vinegary, slight sweet Buffalo style taste. My friend ordered the Cattleman's burger and was also pleased with the exceptional taste of the beef, which the menu says is local. The only miss was the beignets. They were kinda crunchy which isn't what I'd expect from traditional beignets. But even so I didn't take away a star! The place has a cool, vintage vibe with exposed brick and black & white photos on the wall. The music was a mix of mostly oldies; think Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin with some Elton John & Jason Mraz. Our server was Regan and she was sweet! Try this place in up and coming downtown Fountain Inn on Main Street. ”
“ If you haven't been to downtown Fountain Inn lately or ever, be sure to check it out. It reminds me of downtown Greer, with some great restaurants and shops, and even a splash pad for the kids. We decided to check out The Farehouse after seeing photos that neighbors had posted of some delicious food. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat at one of the high tops in the bar that are first come, first served. Service from the bartenders was friendly, and the food was exceptional. Other than being out of broccolini, everything came out as expected. The pork chop was huge, juicy and grilled perfectly, and the eggplant parmigiana was SO delicious. We loved the atmosphere and actually preferred the bar area to the dining room. Highly recommend for an evening out. ”
“ Delicious food, a bit of a wait due to staff shortage unfortunately. Staff was very friendly and helpful!!! I would definitely come back here. They have a wonderful menu including brunch on Saturdays. Very nice establishment. I like the interior with the brick walls and pictures. ”
